Wandering Desert Traces

This artist book was conceived during and published by Goldrausch Residency Programm Berlin 2024. It comprises a series of photographs by artist Dior Thiam and an essay by curator and writer Meghna Singh.

„This series was photographed in 2020 in the area of Lompoul in Senegal. The desert, itself a borderline, a liminal, paradoxical space of simultaneous transition and permanence, movement and stasis, silence and noise appears here as a trace upon other landscapes.“
