새-끼-어 - AFSAR's sae-kki-eo

sae-kki-eo is AFSAR's (Asian Feminist Studio for Art and Research) debut publication, documenting activities from April to August 2024. The project brought together AFSAR Si詩Salon (Poetry Salon) members globally on Discord to share poetry and explore feminist/queer writing approaches.
The publication features members' personal poetry, workshop documentation, and research discussions on women's poetry and queer poetic expression. The Korean title sae-kki-eo allows for multiple interpretations, including meanings related to derivatives, interruption, and plant propagation, suggesting ideas of growth and creative intervention. Since the publication is primarily in Korean with some parts in English, it naturally intersects with the necessity of poetry translation, though this was not its original intention.
