Oh Country Stay Strong:
A zine where the years of the egypuan struggle are narrated from denial to victory. Through songs, imagery, and behind-
the-scenes stores. the magazine takes the renders through an emotional rollercoaster, allowing them to experience the full range of emotions Egyptians felt from the 1967 setback till the 1973 victory. With Mawal El Nahar, the state of emotional denial prevailing among Egyptians ends just for the patriotic spirit and songs to ignite.
A series of artists start contributing differently in the war efforts until the victory arrives, carrying pride and joy. Vintage Arab newspapers and magazines from the 60s till the 80s were the compositional inspiration, which means that the magazine includes elements used at the time, such as frames, stars, lines in a contemporary means. The imagery on each spread introduces the musician/ singer; they aim to reveal a shred of their character and how they influenced the ones who listened to their songs.
