The Island of Missing Trees

In 1974, two teenagers from opposite sides of divided Cyprus meet secretly at a tavern hidden beneath a fig tree. When the war breaks out, they vanish.
Many years later sixteen-year old Ada tries to untangle her family’s history steeped in silence but the only connection she can find is the fig tree in their back garden.
